This policy document outlines the guiding principles and expectations for employees, contractors, and business partners in accordance with the agreements and commitments Creative Goat has undertaken.
2. Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure
2.1 Protection of Confidential Information
- All employees, contractors, and business partners must uphold strict confidentiality regarding proprietary information.
- Confidential Information includes, but is not limited to:
- Customer and vendor details
- Intellectual property (IP), including technical data, designs, and business methodologies
- Business strategies, pricing, and financial data
- Any third-party information protected by agreements
- Unauthorized disclosure, duplication, or use of Confidential Information for personal gain is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
2.2 Data Handling and Security
- Employees and contractors must store confidential documents securely and ensure digital files are protected through encryption and access controls.
- All information obtained during employment or contract tenure remains the property of Creative Goat and must be returned or destroyed upon termination of the contract.
3. Business Conduct and Ethics
3.1 Integrity and Professionalism
- All employees and contractors must conduct business with honesty, fairness, and respect.
- Conflicts of interest must be disclosed immediately to management.
- Employees and contractors must not engage in fraudulent activities, misrepresentation, or unethical behavior.
3.2 Non-Circumvention
- Employees and business partners must not bypass Creative Goat in business dealings or engage directly with clients or vendors introduced through Creative Goat without prior approval.
- Any attempt to establish independent business relationships that conflict with the company’s interests may result in legal consequences.
4. Intellectual Property and Ownership
4.1 Ownership of Work Products
- Any intellectual property, including software, designs, business processes, and marketing materials developed during employment or contract tenure, remains the exclusive property of Creative Goat.
- Employees and contractors waive any personal claims to intellectual property developed within the scope of their work.
4.2 Use of Company Resources
- Employees and contractors may not use company resources, including software, hardware, or proprietary data, for personal or unauthorized business activities.
5. Compliance and Legal Obligations
5.1 Regulatory Compliance
- All employees and contractors must adhere to relevant laws and regulations, including but not limited to data protection, intellectual property rights, and contractual obligations.
5.2 Reporting Violations
- Any violations of this policy must be reported to company management.
- Violations may result in disciplinary action, including contract termination and legal proceedings.
6. Termination and Exit Obligations
6.1 Return of Confidential Materials
- Upon termination of employment or contractual engagement, individuals must return all company-owned materials, including digital files, equipment, and documents.
6.2 Non-Compete and Non-Solicitation
- Employees and contractors may not engage in competing business activities for a defined period post-termination as specified in individual agreements.
- Direct solicitation of Creative Goat’s clients, employees, or vendors post-contract is prohibited.
7. Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes arising under this policy shall be resolved through mediation or arbitration as specified in the applicable agreements.
8. Project Cancellation Policy
- 0% – 50% Project Completion: 50% of the total project amount will be forfeited upon cancellation.
- Above 50% Completion: Any outstanding invoiced amounts must be paid in full.
9. Amendments and Acknowledgment
- This policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in business operations and legal requirements.
- Employees and contractors must review and acknowledge their compliance with this policy upon onboarding and at any subsequent updates.
