Creative GOAT

Manufacturing and Fabrication

Inspect, Reverse-Design, and Verify Every Part

From first-article inspection to recreating tooling without drawings, we bring dimensional scanning and inspection to your shop floor — so parts, fixtures, and tooling are measured, modelled, and verified against spec.

Where it earns its keep

Where 3D scanning pays off in manufacturing

Reverse design

Recreate parts, tooling, and fixtures with no drawings — scan the original and get a clean, manufacturable CAD model.

First-article & in-process inspection

Verify that machined and fabricated parts match spec, with full dimensional reports.

Tooling & fixture recovery

Rebuild worn jigs, dies, and fixtures to accurate geometry before they fail completely.

Quality & QC documentation

Colour-mapped deviation reports that show exactly where a part drifts from nominal.

Deliverables

What you walk away with

01

Registered point cloud & mesh

A precise digital capture of the part or tool you can measure any time.

02

Manufacturable CAD models

Parametric, production-ready models for machining, casting, or fabrication.

03

Reverse-designed geometry

Undocumented parts rebuilt to accurate, tolerance-aware models.

04

Inspection reports

Dimensional comparison against CAD or a reference, with deviation maps.

The process

How a scan project works

01

On-site scan

We scan your part, tool, or fixture on the shop floor and capture its exact geometry.

02

Register & process

We stitch the scans into one accurate, measurable point cloud.

03

Model & deliver

We turn the data into the exact CAD model your project needs.

Why us

Why manufacturers work with Creative GOAT

Creative GOAT supports manufacturing and fabrication projects where the physical asset exists but the information needed to reproduce, modify or verify it does not. The starting point may be a worn component, a modified assembly, an obsolete fixture or an existing interface that no longer has a dependable drawing or model.

We capture the relevant visible geometry and develop purpose-built CAD models, drawings and dimensional comparison information for the required task. Depending on the scope, this may support reverse modelling, replacement-part development, fixture or tooling documentation, equipment modification, fit-up planning or comparison of a fabricated assembly with its design model.

The capture and modelling approach is selected according to what the information must support next. Critical interfaces, inaccessible features, assumptions and verification requirements are defined within the agreed scope.

Where fabrication is included, Creative GOAT can coordinate and supply one-off or low-volume parts and assemblies from the defined design information. The objective is a clear handoff from the physical asset to the people responsible for design, machining, fabrication or installation.

Still deciding?

Got a part or tool that needs measuring or modelling?

Send us the component, and we will scan, inspect, or reverse-design it — and hand back the model or report your shop needs.
